CyberFreight was founded in 1999 by Jacques vandenBerg, because he wanted to work in a employee friendly, highly motivating and customer oriented company.
Jacques van den Berg has been in logistics his entire working life, from youngest clerk till truck driver and from airfreight forwarder to Director Airfreight. In 1999 the company Jacques worked for, was acquired by a bigger company and Jacques took the opportunity to start CyberFreight. With colleague Frank de Bont he moved in to a small office and found support with customers as well a airlines on the basis of the enormous commitment, reliability and expertise, they were so used to with Jacques and Frank. This commitment, reliability and expertise is still there and has set the standard for all CyberFreight employees. Within the company and in all offices the work environment as well as the team spirit are of the highest standards, which, in accordance with CyberFreight philosophy, contributes to very low sick leave and a very high productivity.
Jacques is still Managing Director and major share-holder and Frank is still our Manager export airfreight. We moved out of that small office long time ago. Our corporate head office is 800m2 and is located nicely and strategically in Hoofddorp/Schiphol, also operating our warehouse of over 3.500m2 for storage bonded as well as non-bonded goods.
Early 2000, hardly one year after foundation, CyberFreight opened her office in Ridderkerk, for the handling of all ocean freight shipments FCL and LCL on export as well as import. CyberFreight in Ridderkerk moved to a much bigger office in Barendrecht and has grown to be a full CyberFreight establishment, serving a range of nice and very loyal customers, in a way we love to see it at CyberFreight ; dynamic and positive.
