Because of the damage and flood at Kansai international airport(KIX), alarge majority of air shipments have been forwarded to Narita, Haneda and Nagoya airports instead of KIX from overseas.

In consequence, there have been about 2000 tons of cargo backlogged at Narita airport as of Sept 18.

ANA has 1261 tons of backlog and JAL Cargo can not estimate the total weights of air shipments which have been kept at Narita air cargo terminal and other facilities.
Please refer to the attachments regarding the Outline of Narita Airport Facilities and a list of airline companies who entrust JAL Cargo, ANA and IACT (Narita aircargo terminal) services with the handling of their air shipments from and to Narita airport.
