In May 2019, Merstar International has entered a joint venture with V-Trans International Freight and Logistics Pte Ltd, to form Merstar VT (S) Pte Ltd (a subsidiary) for the Batam market.

Batam is the main gateway and Industrial Zone to Indonesia, is the closest island to Singapore and is one of the largest economic powerhouse within ASEAN a member of the G20 nations.

In the joint venture, Merstar VT (S) Pte Ltd will focus into the Batam market to offer specialized services for customers in Batam Industrial Zones, to have access to cargo shipments and transshipment deliveries through Singapore port.

Merstar VT handles AOGs shipments, Oil & Gas equipment, Ships’ Spares, Ships Scrubbers, Heavy Projects, ISO Tanks, Customs Clearance and Door to Door Delivery etc.

The joint venture company, Merstar VT (S) Pte Ltd, owned three vessels with payload between 80 tons to 100 tons plying between Singapore-Batam vice-versa daily. We also provide Customs clearance and door delivery within Batam Industrial Zones and also provide complete door to door service from Singapore.

As a subsidiary of Merstar International (S) Pte Ltd, Merstar VT will cooperate with all LINK Partners whenever there is/are any shipment to/from Batam Island to your country or 3PL shipments, please contact us.
